International Motorsports Hall of Fame 2024 Heritage Preservation Event
This year’s event is already exceeding our expectations. We will have our top contributors featuring their Automobiles inside The Dome, and we will also be offering the Show and Shine Event outside. This year we will be hosting the Aero Warrior Reunion and featuring Legendary Nascar vehicles from the past as well as Incredible Ford Torino's, Dodge Daytona's, Plymouth Superbird's, Charger 500's, and Mercury Cyclone's. Our Friday banquet will be at Big Bills, Talladega Super Speedway's one-of-a kind 35,000 square foot Open Air Social Club, which is located on the infield of the Talladega Superspeedway. Our High Oval Track Experience has a Friday and Saturday option . You don't want to miss the thrill of driving your car on the same track that NASCAR legends have raced on over the decades. We have a venue for well over 500 vehicles, so sign up and spread the word. Let’s show Talladega how thankful we are for all the great memories that have created so many legends throughout the years.

EVENT ITINERARY
VIP Platinum Pavilion, VIP Best Bundle/Dome, VIP High Oval Track Bundle, VIP Gold Bundle and VIP Additional Track run ticket holders the following is the itinerary that we will be following, our time frames on this itinerary will be followed strictly and any delays on your part may cause you to lose your opportunity to get on the track.

Thursday October 24th after 5PM:
Dome Cars
You are welcome to park your trailers in the trailer parking area: If you do not plan to take your car on the track, (Thursday only) you are welcome to bring your car and pre-park it in the dome for the first 11 cars that wish to do so, that will be all that we can park on Thursday / no exceptions!
Pavilion Cars
You are welcome to unload your trailers in the trailer parking area: You are welcome to park your car in the pavilion overnight and be prepared for Friday morning registration activity.
Friday October 25th, 6:30 - 7:00 am
All cars that are driving into the event without trailers please go to the right side road (when facing the museum, on the map it's on the left side)and go through the registration gate and park your cars outside the dome .
For those of you that are arriving for registration and bringing your cars on trailers. Please unload your trailers in the trailer parking zones and be ready to register at 7:30 AM inside the dome which is the rear portion of the museum, please come in to the dome on the road to the right side of the Dome all the way back to where it says (show car entry)on the map
Friday 7:30 - 8:15 am
Registration will be at the very front of the stage inside the dome, please know the ticket type that you purchased. We will have separate lines in four isles in Alphabetical order, we will only be handing out registration packets., the shirts will be ready once everyone comes back from the track experience Friday morning.
(Put on your wristbands and keep them on throughout the entire event)
(Get your witnessed waiver form out of your registration package and sign them, make sure you have one for every passenger in your car, if you have any under the age of 18 then those participants must please request a minor age application form.)
Take the time to observe your basic track rules.!!! They will be in your registration packet!! Any rules that are broken will result in you being asked to leave the event no exceptions!!!
Friday 8:16 - 8:30 am
(Barbers Motorsports Park Experience )

All cars that are registered to go to the Barbers Motorsports Park will be lining up and driving down interstate 20 W. to the Buckees exit 140 which is also the same exit for Bass Pro Shops and Barbers.
Mark and Linda Turner will be your registration leaders to guide you to the park, Scott Harris will be greeting you at the entrance. Call Eric Perrine (205) 542-1240 I should be able to help guide you in. Should anyone get lost!
Friday 8:30 am
(Talladega Superspeedway Experience)
The Aero Warrior Reunion cars will be lining up to head over to the track first (all race cars, please line up first, and all domestic Aero cars next, Behind the Richard Petty Charger that will be staged on the road that leads back out of the dome area, cars must be lined up single file.
All dome cars that are not Aero cars will line up beginning just behind the Aero event cars. All modern cars will be in the rear!!
Friday 9:00 -11:59 am
We will be heading into the Talladega Superspeedway single file to initially do a parade lap, which is down on the apron!!!
This will give every car the opportunity to do a low speed lap or two to have a photo opportunity and to experience the track!!
When coming off the track, we will line up all of the Aero and other cars that wish to go on the high oval at higher speeds, these cars will be paced with front and rear track officials in groups of 15 to 20 at a time, we will keep sending all of the cars that wish to go out in groups until our time period is up.
We will have a place to park your car once you come off the track and you are finished, so you can wait for all the other cars to be finished it will also give you an opportunity to take pictures of your friends cars while out on the track!
For those of you that wish to go back to the museum please wait until we all go back in a single file!!
Friday 12:00 - 2:00 pm
We will be staging and assisting you to park your car in the dome and the pavilion areas for those that have registered for that portion of the event! It will be marked on your online tickets! This at times can seem tedious please be patient. It is similar to the experience of staging cars at the Musclecar and Corvette Nationals but just on a smaller scale.
Friday 2:00 - 4:00 pm
Come inside the dome and enjoy live music! We will be featuring Cashback a renowned Johnny Cash tribute band!!!
Friday 4:30 - 8:00 pm (End of Friday)
Make sure that your wristband is on!
Alcohol is prohibited inside the Talladega Superspeedway
(You will need another waiver form for every person in your vehicle, witnessed and signed by you and your participant to get back into the track) remember minors must have a different form!
With all of your show cars parked, now is the time to be ready to get into your trucks and or other vehicles and be ready to line up and drive back into the Super Speedway and head towards the Big Bills Pavilion
(BEMA) Big Easy Mopar Association will be doing the cooking,
we will have a great banquet dinner and do some introductions, auction off a few items while enjoying Jerry Robbins a locally renowned Saxophone artist.
Saturday October 26th
7:30 - 8:30 am
VIP Pavillion , VIP High Oval Bundle and Track participants must check in at the very front of the museum, you must make sure that you have all waivers signed for every person that is riding in your car, we will line cars up behind the Richard Petty Charger single file with the Aero Cars going first, you will head over to the track and begin your experience with 15 to 20 cars at a time that are paced , please note to follow track rules, or you will be asked to leave the event!
8:31 - 11:59 am
Everyone heads to the track lined up behind the Richard Petty Dodge charger. We will continue to send the cars out on the track until the experience has been completed!!!
12:00 - 12:30 pm
Pavilion Cars will head back and park in the VIP pavilion experience area,
High Oval Bundle cars will go around the museum and park in the show car parking areas that are reserved just for you!
The VIP Gold Corral cars will also go around to the car show parking area and park in your assigned car corral parking area !!
Saturday track cars will also come in and park in your assigned areas !!
12:31 - 2:30 pm
You will be able to enjoy your cars, making new friends and enjoying the open car show that has also joined us on Saturday, We plan on having an open bar, a music truck and announcing winners from the money tree throughout the day.
2:31 - 4:00 pm
We will be gathering to do our award ceremony and finish up the silent auction with a live auctioneer to finish up the day ! Please stay till the end, besides the normal awards, there will also be special plaques made on behalf of sponsors, the chairman and vice chairman from the International Motorsports Hall of Fame.
End of the event
4:30 - 6:00 pm
We will be patiently removing cars from the dome and or the pavilion , please be there to pull your car out so everyone can leave, if you are needing to leave your car there overnight you may then bring your car back into the dome and then we will be releasing cars again on Sunday at 9 AM
